AdSense invalid traffic warning after traffic spike

My site got a huge boost from a viral Facebook post yesterday and now I have a warning in my dashboard about invalid traffic. I am scared they are going to ban my account. Does anyone know if I should turn off my ads for a few days until things cool down?
