Invalid traffic warning on AdSense after Discover spike

Got a sudden spike from Google Discover two days ago and woke up to a temporary ad limit on my AdSense account today. Is there any way to protect against this with Cloudflare rules or should I just disable ads completely until the traffic settles down?
