AdSense invalid traffic deduction after sudden Reddit traffic spike

Got hit with a thirty percent earnings deduction this morning on AdSense right after a post blew up on Reddit. Organic search traffic has always been clean so this hurts. Is there any way to appeal this or do I just have to eat the loss?
