AdSense deducted forty percent for invalid traffic this month

Logged into my dashboard this morning and nearly cried seeing almost half my balance wiped out under invalid traffic deductions. Most of my visits come from organic Google search on a recipe blog, so I really cannot figure out what triggered this. Has anyone had success disputing these deductions or finding the offending IP ranges?
